Project: First National Insurance - Digital Marketing Campaign
Featured Skills: Digital Media Buying (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn Ads), Wix, Teamwork, Project Management, Problem Solving, Negotiation
My team used to praise me for saving failing projects. They called me a savior due to the reason I consistently took over projects on the brink of failure. I handovered this project from a colleague, in my role as both a project manager and a digital ads specialist.
Originally a senior account executive but came from digital marketer background so I I had two roles – managing projects and doing digital ads buying.
The initial plan was for a comprehensive 360 digital marketing campaign. However, during the campaign's first phase, we discovered that in Myanmar, people primarily turned to Facebook for inquiries due to VPN issues affecting the landing page's performance with Google Ads.
As a project manager, I had to adapt and realign the strategy to meet the client's expectations, even in the middle of the project. Although the ads were not performing well on Google and LinkedIn, the client insisted on maintaining a presence on these platforms based on the original pitch strategy. To optimize our results, I allocated a significant portion of the ad budget to Facebook Ads, resulting in 800 inquiries from Facebook alone within three months.
"This experience made me even more certain that it's crucial to adapt advertising strategies for specific places, especially in countries like Myanmar, where government rules have a big impact."
